Learn in person
We've partnered with nonprofits in Rockford to provide financial education classes to everyone who opens a Bank On Rockford account. Our Community Partners offer classes in English and Spanish a couple of times per week, at locations throughout the Rockford area. Learn online
There are many online resources to help you and your family maintain your new account. The Illinois State Treasurer's Office offers helpful tips, calculators, and exercises through its Division of Financial Education to help you get your finances on track for success. In addition, visit the Beehive's website to learn how to manage your checking account, create and manage a budget for your family, file taxes online for free, and much more. The Beehive also offers online tutorials on everything from getting a GED to obtaining low-cost health care.
